Swarnachari

Swarnachari – An delectable variety of Sarees made in Bisnupur, which is in the Bankura District of West Bengal. Swarnachari sarees are completely made in handlooms and the warp and wefts are made with fine quality silk further embellished with intricate Zari-based motif patterns throughout the body of the sarees and a signature pallu pattern depicting episodes from Ramayana or Mahabharata. The extravagant use of zari in the Pallu lends these sarees an unmatched flamboyance.
